Lochlands Moonlight Serenade

Foaled May 2004.

Sire: Chapelhill Hamish (Glensuie x Jilldene).

Dam: Lochlands Mandolin (Woodcock of Whitefield x Lochlands Madrigal).

Moonlight has a lovely temperament and has been friendly since the day she was born. She has been to five shows in 2005, and has been well placed on each occasion, having 2 firsts, a 2nd, a 3rd and 6th at The Royal Highland.

Moonlight has not been shown since she was a yearling, as unfortunately as a 2yo she recieved a nasty injury. Thankfully apart from being left with a small scar, she made a full recovery.

She has been retained as brood mare.

2008: Moonlight had a lovely yellow dun colt foal in April. She was an excellent mother and made a great job of raising her first foal.

Moon River has been sold and is now settled in his new home in Buckinghamshire, we wish his new owner well and look forward to following his progress.

2010: Moonlight had a mouse dun filly, Lochlands Moonshadow, by Rignell Sassenach so full sister to Lochlands Moon River.
